Sigrid Bratlie

Sigrid Bratlie, Senior advisor at the Norwegian Biotechnology Advisory Board:

 

Sigrid Bratlie studied Molecular Biology at the University of Glasgow and Imperial College London, UK. She holds a Phd from the Institute for Cancer Research at the Norwegian Radium Hospital, for which she was awarded the Kings gold medal in 2015. Sigrid now works as a Senior advisor at the Norwegian Biotechnology Advisory Board, where she closely follows the cutting edge of biotech R&D, in particular gene technologies such as CRISPR. One of her main activities is science communication and public dialogue with a focus on both scientific, ethical and societal aspects.
