Line Ellingsen, CEO of Ellingsen Seafood
Line Ellingsen runs one of Northern Norway’s leading salmon
businesses, from an island in the middle the Vestfjorden where logistically speaking you should not establish your own slaughterhouse.
She studied fisheries economics and economics and business administration at the
Nord University in Bodø and at École Supérieure de Commerce in Marseille.
When her father died in 1997, Line was thrown into the leader’s chair at a young
age, and since then she has turned the company into a key player in the salmon industry.
Line has been deputy leader of the Norwegian Seafood Council, and has held a range
of positions in the trade organisation the Norwegian Seafood Federation.
