Karoline Andaur graduated as a social anthropologist from the University of Oslo, and has worked with WWF since 2009. She previously worked for the Norwegian parliament’s
committee administration. After leading WWF Norway’s marine programme for many years, Karoline is now the organisation’s Deputy CEO.
Karoline was in charge of WWF’s business sector work during a particularly exciting period: How do we achieve the green change? And how do we reach the UN’s new sustainability goals for 2030? The
world faces challenges that demand cooperation across borders and sectors. Everything is linked. Karoline is known within the seafood sector for being an important critical voice and sometimes
partner. Karoline also works with WWF’s international ocean programme, and represents WWF internationally at various ocean forums.
